Need 2 full time, seasonal, temporary Farmworker/Laborers to work in Hastings, Mn. From: 05/09/2024 - 11/10/2024 Work: 48 hrs./week, Mon. - Sat. Hours worked in excess of 48 hours in a work week will be paid at the rate of time and a half. Must Apply By: 09/29/2024 Job Duties: Plant, spray, weed, fertilize, water and prune plants, using gardening tools. Operate tractors, to plow, mow, harrow and fertilize soil, or to plant cultivate, spray and harvest crops. Load and unload harvested trees and other related Nursery worker activities. Will work outside in all weather conditions, rain, snow, sleet, extreme heat and cold. Tobacco free, drug free workplace. Post hire random drug and alcohol testing. Worker must show proof of legal authorization work in the United States. Job Requirements: Must be 18 years of age, Static strength, push, pull, carry objects up to 50lbs., Exposure to extreme temperatures, extensive pushing, pulling, sitting, walking, frequent stooping, bending over and repetitive movements. Employer Assurances: Work guaranteed for 3/4 of contract period, starting with date of arrival at work site. Employer provides free housing for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Employer pays inbound transportation and subsistence to work site upon 50% completion of work contract for workers whose residence is beyond normal commuting distance. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $15.88 per day during travel to a maximum of $59.00 per day with receipts.
