Penn Color Inc. Senior Developer in Hatfield, Pennsylvania

*Senior Developer (Penn Color, Inc., Hatfield, PA): *Provides technical, global support to all standard and custom applications already in place; Provides technical support for implementation of new software "releases" and ensures existing functionality is not compromised by confirming that existing applications are compatible with the new release; Supports business process improvement by designing, developing, testing and implementing improvements in Oracle's E-Business Suite, including: Development of custom Reports using XML Publisher & Discoverer, On-Demand Data Extracts to Business Users and Management, Data Loads using Oracle APIs from external sources, Investigating and Correcting Data Integrity Issues, and Development of Alert Notifications, Custom Forms, Personalization on Forms, and Packages and registering as Concurrent Programs; Ensures that business objectives and functional specifications of projects are met; Solicits technical and functional approval of detailed technical specifications for subsequent development and testing; Works closely with IS Leads and internal and contract Technical Developers on software development and application implementation projects; Ensures the quality of implementation through detailed impact analysis, thorough unit testing of various scenarios and adequate support to IS and Business Leads during system testing; Confers with business and development project team members to resolve issues and/or provide technical advice in a timely fashion; and Works with DBA and project team on software patch and release planning, regularly reporting project status. Must have experience with the following in order to complete the above-mentioned tasks: Experience in systems development with Oracle E-Business Suite and related development tools including Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, Oracle APEX, XML Publisher, PL/SQL Development; Experience designing applications and writing codes based on functional requirements; Experience in data and systems design; Understanding of Process Manufacturing, Plan to Produce, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash Business flows; Experience with the software development life cycle; Experience establishing strong relationships with internal customers; Experience with Oracle coding/development standards; Experience in writing Linux Shell Scripts; and Experience configuring the technical setups in Oracle Applications. Requires a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a closely related field, and at least five (5) years of experience as an Oracle Applications Developer or a related occupation.
