Job Summary

Adjunct faculty members facilitate students' achievement of course objectives and prepare college students to matriculate through the undergraduate program.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Online and face-to-face course delivery and instruction

  • Prepare and submit syllabi, grades, and other required course documentation in a timely manner

  • Communicate course requirements and expectations to students

  • Perform other duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications

    Master's degree (or 18 hours of graduate course work) in English or Composition/Rhetoric from an accredited university, Ability to teach effectively (both online and in traditional settings) at the university level, Background check clearance

    Preferred Qualifications

    Ph.D. in English or Composition/Rhetoric, Experience with online course delivery and instruction, Experience with Canvas technology
