Responsibilities

  • What You'll Do:

  • This position consists of providing maintenance planning data management to meet the needs and requirements of the H-60 Fleet Support Team. The Applicant shall perform various tasks related to the development, evaluation, review, approval, and posting of aircraft Maintenance Plans (MPs).

  • Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage, coordinate, track, and distribute draft Maintenance Plans to reviewers and verifiers for logistical and engineering technical research/modification.

  • Review comments and document recommended changes to Maintenance Plans.

  • Manage, coordinate, track, and distribute draft Maintenance Plans.

  • Consolidate all recommendations, comments/changes for final verification and incorporation into Maintenance Plans.

  • Upload completed Maintenance Plans to the online SLICWAVE site for signatures.

  • Build Top Down Break Downs for specified components.

Qualifications

  • Education / Certifications:

  • BS or BA degree

  • Allowable Substitutions: (In addition to the three (3) years of aircraft logistics experience)

  • Associate degree plus an additional three (3) years of aircraft acquisition logistics, supply support, or maintenance work experience that meets the experience requirements for a Jr Logistician

  • High School Diploma/GED plus an additional six (6) years of aircraft acquisition logistics, supply support, or maintenance work experience that meets the experience requirements for a Jr Logistician

  • Required Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in aircraft life-cycle (acquisition or sustaining) logistics

  • Experience:

  • Experienced in communicating with customers, employees, and corporate staff.

  • Experienced in the daily use of computers and computer software programs such as, but not limited to, Microsoft (MS) Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, and Adobe.

  • Skills & Technology Used:

  • Knowledge of Aviation Acquisition Logistics, Supply Support, or Maintenance best practices

  • Self-Starter

  • Dependability

  • Attention to detail

  • Problem-Solving

  • Organizational Skills:

  • Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Adaptability

  • Software:

  • Microsoft Office Suite - Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook

  • Adobe

  • SharePoint

  • Personal computer, printer, copy machine, and other general office equipment

  • SLICWAVE preferred, but not required
