Job Summary

Optimum Media is looking for their next advertising sales superstar. We have outstanding cross platform marketing solutions (Cable TV, Digital, and Mobile) that help local business reach a huge local audience of consumers and drive results. We are looking for the best advertising sales professional to bring these marketing solutions to more businesses to help them grow and thrive. Responsibilities

Using a consultative approach, you'll meet with local businesses key decision makers, determine their needs and develop advertising solutions using our ever-evolving suite of Cable TV, Digital Video (OTT/ CTV), and Mobile solutions to fulfill those needs. You'll manage all aspects of your clients' accounts - from proposal through production and campaign activation. You must be highly motivated; customer focused and be an independent thinker with strong problem-solving skills.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of successful advertising sales experience
  • TV Advertising sales experience and local advertising background is a plus...will strongly consider strong candidates with successful ad sales experience from all media (Digital, Radio, Outdoor)
  • Strong prospecting and cold calling skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain a consistent New Business pipeline / sales funnel
  • Excellent presentation skills with a proven track record of closing sales while achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets
  • Ability to have consistent presence in the market with in person meetings to build rapport and develop strong (buying) relationships with clients and agencies.
  • Possess strong time management, prioritization, and process skills with the ability to work independently
  • Intermediate computer proficiency, particularly in PowerPoint, Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Valid driver's license, satisfactory driving record within Company required standards, and auto insurance
  • College degree preferred, but not required
  • Strong presentation skills

This position is identified as being performed in/or reporting to company operations in New York State. Salary ranges are supplied in compliance with New York State law. Pay is competitive and based on a number of job-related factors, including skills and experience. The starting pay rate/range at time of hire for this position in the posted location is $35,000.00-$35,000.00/year. The rate/range provided herein is the anticipated pay at the time of hire, and does not reflect future job opportunity.
