Aerotek Structures Mechanic in HAYDEN, Idaho

Aerotek on behalf of its client, is seeking qualified Aircraft Structures Mechanic to perform heavy structure work on turboprop aircrafts in Hayden, ID.

Long term contract work with per diem, or can go direct hire if desired. $40-52/hour DOE including per diem for non-local candidates. Must have own tools (Standard Aviation Tool Kit) or ability to buy ahead of time.

  • Structures Mechanic will perform heavy maintenance on ATR turboprop aircraft operated by air cargo carrier.

  • Receive task card, read blueprint, identify tools needed, perform repair or install required, submit to inspection.

  • Drilling, reaming, riveting to close tolerance, basic fabrication, install, quality check.

  • Corrosion control, fabricating and installing stringers and doublers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • 4+ years aircraft structural repair or fabrication experience - must be able to drill/ream/countersink/rivet sheetmetal working from blueprints

  • Must be able to pass basic structures fabrication test (Secure metal plates with several dozen rivets of different types)

  • MRO experience highly preferred but not required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $44.00 - $52.00
