Description
Robert Half is in search for an Accounting Manager. The Accounting Manager will oversee financial operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our accounting processes. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for closing the books on a monthly basis, managing accounts receivable and accounts payable, and maintaining proficiency in debits and credits. Responsibilities:
Closing the Books (Monthly):
Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial records.
Make necessary adjustments to ensure the accuracy of financial statements.
Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable Management:
Oversee the management of accounts receivable and accounts payable.
Supervise and support an accounts receivable staff person to ensure timely invoicing and collections.
Supervise and support an accounts payable staff person to ensure accurate and timely payment processing.
Proficiency in Debits and Credits:
Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and applying debits and credits.
Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
Requirements
Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
· Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
