JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position Title: SSS TRIO Assistant Director & Success Coach Reports To: SSS TRIO Director FLSA Status: Exempt Annual Contract: Full-time - 52 Weeks Rate of Pay: Dependent on Qualifications. Posting Date: September 26, 2024 Application Deadline: October 10, 2024, or until filled Start Date: As soon as possible In-Person - Not Remote General Position Summary: Assist SSS TRIO Director in project management (supervision/training of outreach staff, monitor budget, etc.) including database management (e.g., Student Access), preparing and submitting the annual performance report, and provide direct services to project participants. Key Responsibilities: Assist the TRIO Director with program management as needed or requested, including but not limited to, supervision, training, submission of the annual performance report, and budget management for outreach site staff\'s TRIO work Provide direct services for approximately 25 to 30 student participants at the main campus Assist Outreach Site Staff to provide direct services to the student participants at their outreach sites Coordinate with appropriate university staff to manage and support students and the TRIO Program with software, technology, and database management; specifically including the Student Access data base management Coordinate with appropriate university staff to provide and assist in the coordination of academic advising, transfer advising, academic tutoring, supplemental instruction, study skills Provide instruction and/or support to compliment Introduction to Higher Education, computer applications, and basic math and English courses Coordinate with appropriate university staff to provide and assist in personal support, career coaching services, financial aid and financial literacy guidance, disability services, and cultural enrichment activities Coordinate development of an Individualized Education Academic Plan (IEAP) for all student participants Plan educational activities to raise awareness of diverse populations and for transfer and career exploration Participate in Student Affairs departmental meetings and serve on at least one institutional committee.
