The Boeing Company is currently seeking an Estimating and Pricing Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the team in Hazelwood, MO or Mesa, AZ.

This role is for the Government Home Office Estimating and Pricing Team (Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs)/Bulks). In this position you will be working in a dynamic opportunity to influence the entire Estimating function while supporting multiple programs at multiple sites. The Government Home Office position works across both the acquire and execute communities and leadership to develop and maintain Bulks and CERs. This position provides critical assistance across the entire contract lifecycle.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Interact with all stakeholders to manage allocated costs, provide proposal and negotiation tools and support a compliant Estimating System

  • Defend, negotiate and support audits of the Bulk factors with Defense Contract Management Agencies (DCMA) and Defense Contract Audit Agencies (DCAA) and operate as liaison between Boeing Acquire teams and DCMA/DCAA

  • Collaborate with Programs, Accounting, Cost Policy and Rates organizations on accounting changes, re-alignments and coded projects to ensure pricing models and tools are consistent with disclosure statements

  • Support parametric and historical estimating across the Boeing Enterprise Center of Excellence(ECOE)

  • Work with Disclosure Statements and Forward Pricing Rate Proposals (FPRPs)

  • Develop and measure Cost Estimating Relationships based on sound statistical and value-based standards

  • Evaluate Cost Estimating Relationships with DCMA/DCAA

  • Understand Estimating System Audits, Corrective Action Request (CAR) Response Preparation, and Corrective Action planning

  • Maintain Pricing System Tools (ProPricer) and processes commonly used in Aerospace and Defense

  • Support proposal negotiations and fact-finding questions, especially those related to the use of CERs or parametric estimates

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent level of education and experience

  • 3 + years of experience in a finance, estimating or related role

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 1 + years of experience in Estimating

  • 1+ years in Execute Finance/Indirect Rates Forecasting/Program Management

Typical Education/Experience:

Experienced (Level 3)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior (Level 4)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+8 years' related work experience, 14 years' related work experience, etc.)

Senior (Level 5)

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 15 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+13 years' related work experience, 19 years' related work experience, etc.)

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range :

Experienced (Level 3) $84,150 – $113,850

Senior (Level 4) $106,250 – $143,750

Senior (Level 5) $134,300 – $181,700
