Guest Services Lead

SUMMARY

The Guest Service Lead are often the first individuals that our guests interact with. It is imperative that the Guest Services staff function efficiently, professionally, and as a unified team. The Guest Services Lead is responsible for motivating, organizing, and supervising the Guest Services staff and ensuring success.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Job duties include; although are not limited to:

  • Overseeing day-to-day Guest Services staff operations, ensuring our standards are executed accurately and with consistency

  • Greeting guests, informing them of property amenities, services, hours of operation, and local areas of interest

  • Prioritizing guest requests for luggage assistance, organizing luggage, ensuring a timely delivery to rooms

  • Preparing weekly work schedule for Guest Services staff based on occupancy and special requests per group resume

  • Recruiting, interviewing, and training new Associates, facilitating ongoing development and learning

  • Serving as a departmental role model, counseling and disciplining Associates

  • Assisting Associates with general Guest Services Agent duties such as helping guests in and out of vehicles, carrying guests’ luggage to and from their rooms, and answering guest questions and fulfilling requests

  • Communicating with other departments to ensure efficient operations and high levels of guest satisfaction

  • Completing any other tasks and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous experience working in an upscale hotel preferred

  • Previous Guest Services Agent or Guest Services Lead experience preferred

  • Basic computer skills required

  • Excellent customer service skills required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Position requires walking, standing, and being outside most of the working day; must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat and stretch to fulfill tasks. Requires manual dexterity, grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, and climbing.

The pay scale* for this position is $18.00.

*The pay scale is the base salary or hourly wage range, exclusive of incentive pay such as commissions, piece rates, gratuities, and the like, that Montage reasonably expects to pay for the position.
