RÔLE: Comment vous contribuez à RYAM

Promouvoir et fournir un lieu de travail sûr, rechercher des améliorations, soutenir le programme de santé et de sécurité.

Vous superviserez toutes les opérations de quart et les employés afin de maximiser la productivité et l'efficacité de la scierie en assurant une gestion optimale de toutes les ressources.

Vous maintiendrez des normes de qualité et maîtriserez les coûts.

RESPONSABILITÉS:

  • Diriger une équipe d'entretien mécanique motivée, efficace et engagée composée de subordonnés directs et offrir des opportunités de développement de carrière.

  • Coacher et encadrer les employés pour assurer une performance maximale.

  • Soutenir le respect de la convention collective et de bonnes relations syndicales / patronales / employées.

  • Maintenir un programme de communication pour tenir votre équipe informée des priorités de l'usine et du service

  • Se rapporte au directeur de la scierie.

Opérations

  • Superviser les opérations de production afin d'utiliser au mieux les matériaux, la main-d'œuvre et les équipements pour atteindre ou dépasser les objectifs de production et les objectifs financiers (maîtrise et réduction des coûts).

  • Effectuer les inspections requises et développer des programmes en collaboration avec le service clientèle et le service technique pour s'assurer que la qualité du produit répond aux spécifications.

  • Travailler avec d'autres superviseurs sur le site pour atteindre une performance opérationnelle et une efficacité maximales à chaque quart de travail.

  • Rechercher, recommander et mettre en œuvre des améliorations aux processus de production, aux performances des équipements, aux conditions de travail et à la qualité des produits.

  • Examiner les bons de travail et les rapports statistiques (production, contrôle qualité, maintenance et temps d'arrêt) pour assurer une bonne planification.

  • Remplissez tous les rapports administratifs de quart (par exemple, production, feuilles de temps, accidents, performances, formation, roulement du personnel et environnement) conformément au contrat de travail.

EXIGENCES: ce que vous apportez à notre lieu de travail

Éducation: Diplôme collégial ou diplôme dans un domaine connexe.

Expérience: Minimum de 3 ans dans un domaine connexe.

Compétences en supervision et en communication.

Bilinguisme: français et anglais un atout.

+ + Lead a motivated, efficient and engaged mechanical maintenance team of direct reports and provide career development opportunities.

  • Coach and mentor employees to ensure maximum performance.

  • Support compliance with collective agreement and sound union/management/employee relations.

  • Maintain a communications program to keep your team informed regarding mill and department priorities

  • Report to Sawmill Superintendent.

Operations

  • Supervise production operations so as to best use materials, labor and equipment to meet or exceed production targets and financial objectives (cost control and reduction).

  • Make required inspections and develop programs in conjunction with the Customer Service and Technical Department to ensure that product quality meets specifications.

  • Work with other supervisors at the site to achieve maximum operational performance and efficiency each shift.

  • Seek out, recommend and implement improvements to production processes, equipment performance, working conditions and product quality.

  • Review work orders and statistical reports (production, quality control, maintenance and downtime) to ensure sound planning.

  • Complete all shift administrative reports (e.g. production, timesheets, accidents, performance, training, employee turnover, and environment) in compliance with the labor agreement.

REQUIREMENTS: What you bring to our workplace

  • Education: College degree or diploma in a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in related field.

  • Supervision and communications skills.

  • Bilingualism: French and English an asset.
