Gummer Wholesale Picker in Heath, Ohio
*FULL AND PART TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE! BASIC FUNCTION: * Pick and or stock merchandise as directed by supervisor. Maintain safe and sanitary facility.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Achieve established picking lines per hour and errors per 1,000 lines standards.
- Stock merchandise in proper pick slot, rotating first-in/first-out or oldest date in front pick position.
- Assist in inventory counts and cycle counting.
- Complete inventory replenishments as documented by the company.
- Follow warehouse safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Other responsibilities may be determined by management.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
The basic business of the company is the distribution of product to affiliated retailers. Retailers measure our warehouse performance based on how few product shortages, product mis-picks and products received.
While the speed at which various functions are compiled by the picker/stocker is important, it is just as important to complete the functions with minimum errors. The most important thing to our affiliated retailers is receiving the correct product in a saleable condition.
Qualifications for this position would include minimum high school diploma/GED or equivalent training and experience. Strong basic math, reading and verbal/written skills are required.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time as well as walk, kneel, crouch, stoop, and crawl. Must be able to repetitively lift and/or move up to 50 lbs while performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and is occasionally exposed to extreme cold and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is occasionally loud.
