We are now looking for a (Principal) IT Business Analyst to join our Global Region APAC and EMEA team.

A Day in the Life

• You enjoy being part of a global team that is designing and building data pipelines that combine and transform raw data into valuable action based data products. You are proud, enthusiastic on the work you do and are always looking for opportunities to improve the data products our team makes. The Global Region Data & Analytics department is responsible for delivering all data products within the EMEA & APAC & AMER regions.

• As an IT Business Analyst, you will liaise with our business partners and advise them on the data & analytics solutions and opportunities that will support their strategic ambitions.

• You will facilitate workshops with our internal customers to gather their information needs, then connect with the technical teams to come up with the best set-up on how to implement the solution.

• You will play a key role in assessing and designing solutions from a functional perspective, while keeping our business partners informed.  

Must Haves

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in job offered or a similar role in analytics & data management,

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management abilities, including the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

• BS/MS with quantitative focus (e.g. Information Management, economics)

• Extensive experience in gathering, documenting, and challenging business requirements

• Able to explain technical concepts in clear words to non-technical stakeholders 

• Good presentation and (data) visualization skills

• (Strong) knowledge of the fundamentals of Business Intelligence and/or data warehousing (is a plus) 

• Experience with Tableau and/or PowerBI (is a plus) 

Nice to Haves

• You love to work with data! And transform raw data to actionable insights for the business

• Must be fluent in English

• Can manage big data related projects from requirements engineering and stakeholder perspective

• Strong business acumen and stakeholder management skills, strategic thinking

• Agile mindset and familiar with Agile way of working

• Outstanding team player with strong communications skills
