Fluor GmbH is the German subsidiary of Fluor Corporation (USA) with office locations in Mannheim, Berlin and Ratingen. As an engineering services company with around 100 employees (30 000 around the world), we offer our clients solutions in industrial plants and infrastructure facilities in the areas of Energy Solutions and Advanced Technologies & Life Sciences with a focus on Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM).

For our project site in Heide, Schleswig-Holstein, we are currently looking for a Site Estimator/Quantity Surveyor to support our project team for the next two years as of now. This role is essential for ensuring that project is completed within budget and on time, making it a vital part of construction.

Site Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Your duties and responsibilities in this role consist of:

Develop the estimate plan and coordinate estimate development with the project team, including managing of the Estimate Schedule.

•Utilize estimating methods and the expertise of other project professionals to establish total project estimates.

•Engage in direct contact with other functional areas, including client and field contractors.

•Maintain and support the office estimating database and information such as escalation indices, rate of exchange variation, productivity, etc.

•Perform peer review of estimates, when assigned.

•Assist in estimate completion activities and estimate turnover to the project team.

•Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.

•Identify potential risks and uncertainties in the project and incorporate them into the cost estimates.

•Compile and present detailed reports and cost estimates to project managers, stakeholders, and client.
