    Helena School District # 1 has an opening for a full-time 7 hours per school day E-NET Tutor at C. R.Anderson Middle School. The E-NET Tutor (Extended Networking for Educaltion Transitions) program is the Helena community's commitment to hold youth accountable for their actions, while ensuring they are provided a bridge back to school through a structured educational program. At Helena Public schools, our vision is to foster dynamic educational experiences that prepare all students for life. As the E-NET Tutor, you contribute to this mission by assisting students individually and in small groups. You will work as part of a team of serving 8,000 students and 18 campuses across Helena. Some of what you will do:

  • Assists with individual and small group pupil instruction; tutors pupils at teachers' request.

  • Assists in maintaining discipline and other functions.

  • Assist with attendance and related clerical matters.

  • May escort students to and from various rooms.

    To become part of this dedicated team, you need:

  • High School diploma or equivalent;

  • At least three (3) months of related experience and/or training;

  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by the District.

    Essential functions of the position include the ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation. Entry level salary range is $17.20 to $19.44 per hour depending on applicable relevant work experience as determined by the District and includes a comprehensive benefit package including paid sick and vacation leave, 3 personal days, 9 Holidays, a health benefit plan, and retirement.
