Responsible for the management and supervision of an after school child care facility and the day-to-day planning of the facility activities,
Supervises students after school and during outside play,
Plan and supervise day to day progam activities according to program model and in conjuction with instructors at the site,
Interact with parents to keep them informed, answer questions and concerns,
Maintain a safe and orderly enviornment,
Assist in maintaining appropriate program documentation,
Work period is Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
To become part of this dedicated team, you need:
Associates degree or equivalent;
Two years experience as a licensed and/or registered group or family day care provider or day care center staff person;
One to two years related experience and/or training;
Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience as determined by the District.
Entry level salary range is $17.20 per hour ($35,776 per year) to $19.44 per hour ($40,435 per year) depending on education level and applicable relevant work experience and includes a comprehensive benefit package including but not limited to paid vacation and sick leave, paid personal leave, health benefit plan (insurance) and retirement.
