We are looking for a student worker to embark our Marine team, which sits in the division of Electrification and System Drives. Our team has the responsibility of all things Marine at Danfoss - so your stakeholders will reach far and wide on a global level. Being one of the fastest growing areas of Danfoss, be prepared to learn fast.

As Intern/Student worker in Business Development, you will take part in building our marine strategy and driving it forward. This can mean connecting with sales, product management, other business units, for example, in the forms of daily activities or within more special projects. We really want to see you learn and shine, so we will challenge you as well - we think that is the best way to learn and develop.

Our ideal student worker dares to think big, is ready to take on new challenges, and loves to learn. We are not picky about which education you are currently pursuing, as long as you have the good can-do attitude and willingness to challenge yourself. One also cannot highlight ability to work in a team enough - that is how we make everything happen! We will teach you the rest, and maybe you can teach us a little something along the way too.

Job Responsibilities

Your tasks will be very varied, depending on the needs of the business at the time. Generally, they will include:

  • Supporting decision making and strategy - both in more general strategy work and special projects

  • Join us in connecting with stakeholders across Danfoss Marine

  • Taking on your own projects and driving those forward

  • Analyzing and interpreting different types of sales data and commercial insights, and story-telling your findings in a clear way to drive strategic outcomes

  • And some other cool tasks!

We will help you navigate the complex landscape in which we work to ensure that your experience as a student worker (and key player in our team) is top-notch and that you can perform at your highest potential, while learning and expanding your toolbox.

Background & Skills

  • Student at Master level within the fields of Business Management, Strategy or similar

  • Good analytical skills and ability to draw conclusions from complex data

  • Communication and people skills to communicate effectively with varied stakeholders at all levels

  • Knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce, PowerBI an advantage

  • Hungry for learning and self-development to discover your full potential

  • Work experience in strategy, sales and marketing roles or from matrix organizations is a plus

Workplace:

Possible locations are Copenhagen and Helsinki, for 6-12 months. The position will be hourly paid and expected work hours is 15-20 per week, with flexibility during exam periods.
