Location/Division Specific Information
Instrument and Enterprise Services (IES) supports various businesses with Therm Fisher, including Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry (CMD), Laboratory Equipment (LE), among others.
This position is hybrid, based in Hemel Hempstead, but will be working with our warehouses located globally.
Discover Impactful Work:
This position is passionate about service delivery excellence within Instrument and Enterprise Services! Specific activities relative to the job function include: inventory rebalancing, analytics, stock transfer coordination, and cross functional project work. This role will use SAP, Servigistics, and Microsoft Office.
A day in the Life:
Analyzes inventory usage rates and needs to determine ideal stock distribution strategies
Coordinate with Procurement and Planning teams to identify inventory issues and enable resolution
Build and analyze large scale inventory reports
Leverage and expand usage of existing tools to automate re-balancing and analysis
Analyze and create varying reports to include: open-order, stock-out, quantity variance, and expired
Follow and establish well-defined procedures such as Best Practices, SOPs & work instructions
Promotes personal growth and development by staying abreast of new policies and improvements
Keys to Success:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
Ability to present and articulate points by verbal and written communications
1-2 years of dynamic proven experience in applicable field within Supply Chain
Ability to establish and champion positive warehouse relationships
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Strong interpersonal skills and proactive approach in all duties
Demonstrate expertise in the ability to identify inefficiencies in any process and make recommendations for improvement
Detail oriented, technically proficient, organized, problem solver, promotes team environment
Ability to learn new systems and generate reports in Excel and PowerBI
