ABOUT THE ROLE
The Project Management Director serves as the subject matter expert for Project Management for the MYR Group T&D organization. This position is considered the lead position within MYR's Project Management organization and includes teaching and development of the MYR Project Management Training Program (PMTP) as well as providing support to ongoing projects within MYR. Essential Functions The Project Management Director position has the following primary responsibilities and essential functions: Oversee and administer the MYR Project Management Training Program (PMTP) including continuing improvement initiatives and making constant refinements Serve as the Subject Matter Expert on the content included in the PMTP and be an expert resource to operating business units across MYR. Topics include Primavera P6 Scheduling and E1 Enterprise System Travel required to various MYR Subsidiary offices to train on these topics Teach and mentor the PMTP to new hire project managers Responsible to mentor incumbent project managers by providing; leadership, understanding how to strategically manage risk, monitor their costs and making sure that each phase of their projects starts and ends on schedule Maintain PMTP course material on the MYR Learning Management System Advise and assist project teams throughout MYR Assist senior management as requested with special projects and project support Develop tutorials as needed and requested to support MYR systems and concepts and material included in the PMTP Develop and distribute periodic reports throughout the company Essential functions of this position are to be performed in a hybrid, Company-designated office or field location Other duties as assigned Regular and predictable attendance Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Policy and other industry-specific professional and ethical standards ABOUT YOU
Qualifications Minimum 10 years of experience as a project manager in the T&D Industry Possess a portfolio of successful, safe, and profitably executed projects of at least $100M in value Certified Project Management Professional preferred Expertise in Primavera P6 scheduler and E1 Enterprise system Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management or other Engineering discipline, or equivalent relevant project management experience Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization Self-directed, motivated and well organized Technically proficient with computers and software, including MS Office products Willing to take on new challenges Consistently recommend and make process improvements and create new efficiencies Customer-focused with a high priority on responsiveness and collaboration Support a strong Companywide culture of empowerment with long-term efficiencies WHAT WE OFFER
Compensation & Benefits Annual Salary $114,300 - 143,000 Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges ar made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate. Two days per week remote work option for non-field roles depending on position and performance.
