Summary:
Responsible for effective daily operations of breast imaging department both onsite and in the mobile clinic(s), ensuring high-quality patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Lead a team of breast imaging specialists through daily operations, with attention to onboarding, performance management, counseling, and time/attendance
• Build and coordinate staffing schedule on a monthly basis, ensuring appropriate and cost-effective staffing levels for daily operation, filling in where needed
• Responsible for remote management of mobile mammography clinic; responsible for planning and arranging mobile clinic visits and ensuring safe and effective mobile clinic operations
• Facilitate escalation to and completion of recommended additional imaging, facilitating patient notification and scheduling
• Responsible for maintaining appropriate supply levels for department consumables in accordance with defined pars while minimizing wasteful consumption
• Document and maintain processes and procedures for the breast imaging department operations
• Ensure adherence with Mammography Quality Standards Act (MQSA) and American College of Radiology (ACR) regulations / standards
• Manages and reports productivity metrics for Breast Imaging program and employees
• Act as point of contact for medical recordkeeping tool access and template issues

Qualifications
Required
• Completion of an accredited educational program in Radiological Science
• ARRT registration
• Three (3) years of mammography experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• Supervisory experience
