What you’ll do:

The Manufacturing Engineer will support day to day manufacturing operations as part of a cross-functional Aftermarket Value Stream Team. In this role, you will collect and analyze manufacturing data for process improvements that relate to safety, product quality, customer delivery and efficiency. In addition, you will provide on-floor work instructions and process information for training and meeting engineering standards:

• Design, develop, implement, and improve safe and environmentally responsible aftermarket manufacturing processes. Design processes to ensure that components and assemblies meet all internal and external customer quality specifications

• Active member of cross-functional Aftermarket Value Stream Team to support on-time delivery of customer orders through the manufacturing process excellence, include troubleshooting tooling problems, supporting the First Time Right goal for review and disposition of non-conforming materials, implement continuous flow concepts and training production employees on continuous improvement

• Design assembly and test tooling utilizing 3D modeling software and other engineering analysis and design tools. Work with suppliers and purchasing to procure equipment, tooling, and supplies as required.

• Create and maintain Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Process descriptions, Work instructions to ensure safety, quality, and flexibility targets are achieved, enabling business continuity & growth.

• Work directly with Aftermarket assemblers and customer order engineers to troubleshoot and improve processes, including assembly, adjusting and testing of equipment produced.

• Collect and analyze manufacturing data and process improvement projects, including the development of the project management requirements and all implementation documentation. You will provide support to launch projects through ProLaunch team as required to achieve a flawless launch.

• Support on automated KPI measurement and dashboards

• Able to work with direct personnel input in a daily basis.

• Able to create Work Instruction Sheets.

• Optimize repair process

• Set-up Herinzet line

• Reducing test times

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Skills:

• Digital mindset

• Lean and six sigma experience

• Knowledge of 3D modelling software

• Good English and Dutch language skills

• Understanding of problem-solving methods (Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis)

• Green Belt certified of willing to

• Automation skills

• Strong project management skills

• Knowledge of process auditing techniques to ensure compliance to defined quality requirements

• Ability to communication effectively with all levels of organization, from production to leadership.
