Position summary

In this role, you will provide Nestlé Waters with the 18-month rolling best estimate of Customer Demand and improve Demand Plan accuracy. Furthermore, you will manage supply of finished products at different warehouses and manage the finished goods produced by co-packers. The main goal will be to enhance the Supply Chain responsiveness in fulfilling customer demand at optimal cost.

A day in a life of a Demand & Supply Planner

  • Ensure supply & availability of products to fulfil deliveries on time, at the right place with the correct freshness at warehouse level

  • Use appropriate statistical models and parameters, interpret results to generate accurate base demand forecasts

  • Drive fast, appropriate actions to minimize the impact of deviations from the Demand Plan, and communicate the implemented actions to the stakeholders

  • Capture, prioritize, analyze and input Generating Demand events; customer, consumer & competitor information

  • Provide Generating Demand teams with inputs on a regular basis regarding product launches, portfolio optimization, rationale of commercial decisions, promotions and customer behaviour

  • Build and maintain good communication and collaboration within both Supply Chain and Generating Demand, Manufacturing, Quality and Finance, in order to deliver and satisfy our customers at optimal costs

  • Support different processes within Supply Chain

What will make you successful

  • University Degree with previous internships performed ideally in Supply Chain or Commercial CFC with maturity or equivalent level with at least two years’ experience in a similar position or relevant operational experience in Supply Chain at market/business level

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Good communication and collaboration skills to deal with different departments (Marketing, Factory, Transport)

  • Fluent in French & English any other languages is a plus

  • Good command of Excel and SAP experience
