Job Summary:
Responsible for performing tasks that are necessary to maintaining inventory accuracy within the CooperVision Distribution Center. Close supervision required.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Performs inventory searches by utilizing the warehouse management system and RF functionality.
- Organizes/Maintains picking locations to ensure product availability and proper FIFO requirements.
- Performs product restocking and put-away tasks. IV. Performs product retrieval for customer order shortages.
- Responsible for product sorting in preparation for put-away. VI. Performs product location checks to ensure location accuracy.
- Participates in monthly cycle counts.
General Job Requirements
- Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers.
- As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to include mandatory Saturdays.
- Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy.
- Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues.
- Exhibits good communication skills verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.
- Adhered to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- PC Skills
- Forklift/ man-up experience preferred.

Experience:
- Basic course work in mathematics, data processing and business or equivalent training and/or experience helpful. Ability to perform basic mathematics in order to perform physical inventory and cycle counting necessary. Experience in a receiving environment preferred.
Education:
- High school diploma or GED required
For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting pay for this role is $20.00 per hour.
