Amazon Web Services has an immediate opening for a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager II to support PathFinder which is an infrastructure design and automation software. This TiPM will lead cross functional teams to automate worldwide data center networking infrastructure projects, from inception through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager II with expertise in AWS (Amazon Web Services) and a deep understanding of data center and data center information management (DCIM) software.
This role will be pivotal in driving product initiatives that cater to modern cloud and data center environments. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical acumen in cloud technologies, data center operations, and DCIM software, paired with a passion for driving customer-centric programs. The ability to lead cross-functional teams and execute on a shared vision is essential.
This position requires up 50% Travel (Domestic and International trips to AWS Data Center Clusters).

A day in the life
• Manage the dependencies and the interfaces between projects and negotiate the trade-offs needed.
• Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
• Work closely with software and hardware engineering, to ensure program goals are met and customers are delighted.
• Using your SQL knowledge, gather the reporting and insights generated by our software.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and iterate on program features.
• Run meetings, create and maintain timelines, and keep large, diverse groups informed of progress and obstacles.

Basic Qualifications
3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience
Knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies, related to infrastructure (i.e. network, data center, hardware, software)
Experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
Experience driving programs across multiple geographies
Experience managing global programs across cross functional organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $114,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $197,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
