ManTech Workforce Planning Analyst in Herndon, Virginia

Currently, ManTech is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Workforce Planning Analyst to provide administrative and data reporting support to our Mobility Specialist. The ideal candidate will assist with day-to-day operations, generating reports, analyzing data, and ensuring the efficient allocation and management of resources across the organization. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong grasp of data management, and the ability to work collaboratively across multiple teams.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Administrative Support:

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the Mobility Specialist team, including scheduling meetings, managing calendars, and preparing correspondence.

  • Assist in the coordination of internal and external communications for the Resource Management team.

  • Maintain and update departmental records, files, and documentation in an organized and accessible manner.

  • Support the onboarding process by tracking team resource allocation and updating relevant tools and systems.

  • Respond to queries and escalating issues as required.

  • Data Analysis & Reporting:

  • Collect, compile, and analyze resource utilization and allocation data from various sources.

  • Prepare regular and ad-hoc data reports and presentations to support decision-making for resource planning and allocation.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to resource management and identify trends or gaps.

  • Ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting across all tools and databases used by the Resource Management team.

  • Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking resource availability, capacity, and project allocations.

  • Resource Allocation Support:

  • Assist in tracking and managing resource assignments to ensure optimal utilization and alignment with project needs.

  • Help maintain up-to-date records on team availability, project timelines, and capacity.

  • Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for streamlining Mobility Specialist processes and suggest improvements.

  • Support the implementation of tools or systems to improve the efficiency of resource tracking and allocation.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Data Analytics, Human Resources, or a related field is preferred.

  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative, resource management, or analyst role, or advanced education in lieu of experience

  • Experience in data reporting and analysis, preferably related to resource allocation or workforce planning.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and manipulate data.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) and data visualization tools.

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in both administrative tasks and data reporting.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
