Job Title: Extrusion Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Extrusion Machine Operator who will be responsible for the efficient operation of assigned extruders and maintaining the quality of the finished products. The role will also involve understanding and directing Operator Assistant tasks/responsibilities as needed, reading and understanding specifications to assure compliance, and setting up extruders using SOPs/Work Instructions/Product Specifications. As part of the role, you will also be required to record production data and demonstrate proficiency in running one of the extrusion processes (Filler Rod or Foam). Progression opportunities are available for those who master their tasks, with potential for development into a leadership role. Training will be provided on the day shift for 6-8 weeks before moving shifts.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 4 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Hickory, North Carolina.

Work Environment

The work environment is not climate controlled. Shifts include Days/Nights with a 7:00am-7:00pm (2 2 3) Rotation and 7:00pm-7:00am (2 2 3) Rotation. Initial training will occur on day shift (7:00am-3:00pm, Mon-Fri) before transitioning to 12-hour shifts.
