Revolution Energy Services Local sand hauling, home nightly 80-100k per year in Hickory, Pennsylvania

Hopper bottom driving position involves: driving a truck equipped with a hopper bottom trailer. These trailers are designed to transport bulk products like grain, corn, and other similar materials like frac sand. The key feature of these trailers is the hopper at the bottom, which allows for easy unloading of the cargo. Hauling sand, particularly in the oil and gas industry, involves transporting frac sand from sand loading facilities to completion sites. Here are some key points about the job:

 

Responsibilities:

  • Transporting Sand: Safely and efficiently transporting frac sand to various locations.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Performing routine Daily vehicle inspections on trucks and trailers to ensure they are in proper working condition. Informing management of any issues so they can be addressed by revolution shop.
  • Loading and Unloading: Using the hopper mechanism to efficiently load and unload cargo.
  • Record Keeping: Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring that all cargo is loaded and unloaded correctly and safely.

Requirements:

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL): A valid CDL Class A is Required.
  • Minimum One Year (verifiable) Class A : Experience must be verified.
  • Safety Training: Knowledge of safety protocols and industry is crucial.

Compensation:

  • Pay Structure: Base pay is 30% of the trucks gross. Pay can vary- on average most company drivers make 1,000-3,000 per week.

Work Environment:

  • Long Hours: The job can involve long hours (12-14). Local drivers are home nightly.
  • Physical Demands: Hopper Position requires physical stamina and the ability to sit for long periods of time.
  • Elements: this position has times spent outside, revolution employees work in all climates, up to and including  Rain, sleet, hail, snow ect.
