Actalent Mechanical Engineer in High Point, North Carolina
Job Title: Catia DesignerJob Description
Support new technologies and mass production developments by generating new technical ideas and maturing concept designs and drawings to meet the established specification and guidelines. The key purpose is maintaining high quality and customer satisfaction, primarily in the Power Products category. Responsibilities include guiding or establishing the generation of high-level drawings representing key technologies, facilitating prototype generation, engineering estimates, supplier negotiations, factory assembly confirmations, and finally setting mass production specifications. Additionally, support on-site activities such as prototype builds, collaborate with research members to understand test-related concerns, and implement design countermeasures. Communicate project status and participate in project meetings, discussions, and development events. Develop basic ideas to improve competitiveness by product features, technologies, or by enhancing factory or development efficiency.
