Role description:

Arcadis has an exciting new opening for a Pursuit Specialist to join the US Places Commercial Enablement Team to craft high-quality compelling proposals and presentations. As a Pursuit Specialist, you will leverage your expertise and knowledge of the full pursuit process, from positioning and capture planning through post-proposal submittal debriefing on various pursuit types including complex cross business and/or multi-country efforts. Role accountabilities:

This is a dynamic position that requires ability to lead or assist with medium to large proposal efforts, lead multiple smaller proposal efforts, collaborate with teammates, and produce high quality work in fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. The Pursuit Specialist must be able to take initiative and work independently or with a team. Lead proposal development by creating branded or customized proposals, statements of qualification, case studies, interviews, and presentations. Lead or participate on teams to execute proposal planning and development activities such as pre-RFP planning/preparation. Provide high-impact, compelling writing on sections of the proposal and customize projects, resumes, and other text to be tailored to the client/pursuit objectives. Lead the development and application of proposal/presentation themes through storyboarding and strategy meetings. Design graphics and document layout when necessary. Assist in preparing interview/presentation materials, including PowerPoint slides and multimedia productions. Collaborate with project pursuit team to gather information and tailor content to individual RFP requirements.

Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or related Major. 10+ years experience in marketing and/or proposal development in the Architecture/Engineering/Construction industries. Comprehensive understanding of the pursuit lifecycle with strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. Proven capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and Outlook, as well as Adobe InDesign, and Acrobat.
