Job Summary

Safely and efficiently operates industrial equipment by performing industrial processes to produce and assemble product that match company specifications to meet or exceed customer quality expectations.

Essential Job Functions

• Reads and interprets blueprints, and manufacturing instructions
• Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner to produce product while adhering to facility and regulatory safety guidelines
• Assembles parts or assemblies into units
• Verifies accuracy of completed product, conducts and records quality inspection
• Lifts and moves heavy objects or materials by hand, cart or other material handling equipment
• May operate hand-held tools
• Notifies supervisor regarding deficiency and difficulties with tool, materials, or malfunctions of equipment
• Applies quality control measures, uses precision measuring devices, and accurately records measurements
• Records and reports production labor hours, along with the quantity and quality of the product
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly manner
• Performs all other related duties as required or assigned

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of the job. The employee is regularly required to stand, sit, walk, have good dexterity utilizing their arms, hands, and fingers, the ability to communicate clearly with co-workers, and the ability to hear and smell. The employee is occasionally required to balance; and stoop, or kneel. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
