Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Clerk in Hillsboro, Oregon. The role is particularly suited to individuals with a keen eye for detail and proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. The successful candidate will be tasked with managing accounts payable and ensuring accurate record keeping in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Accurately process invoices and maintain up-to-date records
• Reconcile account balances to ensure accuracy
• Conduct check runs to ensure timely payments
• Manage and organize expense reports related to employee credit cards
• Liaise and collaborate for any necessary data or documents
• Navigate QuickBooks for accounts payable functions
• Ensure all documents are submitted according to the process
• Handle inquiries and resolve issues promptly
• Ensure timely payment of bills. Requirements
• 2+ years of experience in Accounts Payable (AP)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks
• Ability to perform account reconciliation tasks accurately
• Experience in coding invoices
• Skilled in data entry, with high attention to detail
• Proficient in check runs procedure
• Capable of processing invoices efficiently
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
