Insight Global Mechanical Design Engineer in Hillsboro, Oregon
Job Description
A client in the semiconductor industry located in Hillsboro, OR is looking for a mechanical design engineer to join their team.
Review and understand the provided design specification.
Create 3D models
Create all required general arrangement, installation, part, and other required drawings using Autocad based on the 3D model.
Create BOM and Routings for the design in SAP.
Work with manufacturing to ensure manufacturability of the design.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; or Associates in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience.
Experience creating 3D models using Solidworks or Inventor
Min. 3+ years of professional experience in a mechanical design role
Experience with designing for assembly null
