Job Description
Skyworks is seeking team members to help innovate market-specific mixed-signal system on chips (SoCs) for audio and wireless applications spanning smart speakers and microphones, wired/wireless headsets, and intelligent gaming controllers. Our advanced audio, voice, speech and artificial intelligent solutions combine breakthrough ultra-low power analog circuits, highly efficient power management and custom hardware accelerators to enable smart acoustic signal processing and AI functionality. Your Role
In this critical role, you will be responsible for Technical/Business Program Management of one or more mixed signal integrated circuits and associated firmware and application software targeted at various segments of the consumer audio market. Our PMs lead multiple development teams (consisting of Design Engineering, Product & Test Engineering, Foundry Eng, QA, Reliability, Operations, NPI/Supply Chain, Purchasing, etc.) to assure compliance with specifications, cost targets, critical milestones, prototype sample on-time deliveries, and successful transition to manufacturing. You will develop detailed project schedules and present project critical path status/issues/actions to Skyworks management and, where practical, lead customers. Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills and an ability to retain critical information. In this position, you have the opportunity to make a uniquely large impact on the success of the company.
Our PMs are responsible for the growth and sustained success of the business unit through product development and NPI processes with strategic organizational alignment and collaboration with functional organization partners throughout the company. A full understanding of customer needs, while driving productivity initiatives to ensure an efficient organization, and leading cross functional teams for root cause analysis and risk mitigation are all vital to success in this position.

Responsibilities
• Chairing weekly development team meetings across a multi-functional group
• Supporting material procurement and prototyping of samples – extensive list of BOM components which requires careful consideration, planning, and timely follow up
• Resolving technical issues to ensure product compliance / robustness against specs (customer & internal)
• Driving critical path schedule tasks and risk mitigation plans
• Supporting customer interaction through Product Line Leads, Product & Customer Mktg, Customer Quality, etc.
• Compliance to our product development process through internal / external audits
• Presentations to senior management, other functional leads within the BU / Operations / Quality and customers/co-development partners
Qualifications
• BSEE, MSEE, MBA, or other related technical education with 15+ years of experience in project management or design/product/systems engineering leadership in the semiconductor industry
• Excellent, high-bandwidth communication skills, organizational skills, and strong retention skills for critical information
• Demonstrated leadership skills specifically working in a matrixed organization
• A passion to win/contribute and a “do what it takes” attitude and approach to the position
• Ability to work and thrive in a team environment
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Project S/W (Scheduling Skills)
• MS PowerPoint (Presentation Skills)

The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is currently USD $139,100 - $278,300 per year . Starting base pay will depend on relevant experience and skills, training and education, business needs, market demands, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location.
