WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will be a key member of the Sport Marketing team, collaborating closely with athletes, teams, and brand partners to drive their integration into our brand initiatives. You will play a critical role in ensuring strong cross functional work across field of plays and genders to shape the strategic direction and positioning of the Sport Marketing EMEA portfolio. We are looking for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, enjoys building strong relationships, and is passionate about leveraging sports marketing to create impactful brand experiences.
You’ll work with a diverse team across the Geo, including close and daily partnership with EMEA Key Cities.
In this role, you will report directly into EMEA Sports Marketing Women Brand & Athlete Experience Director.

Nike Sports Marketing professionals play a crucial role in bridging the connection between the company and Nike-sponsored athletes, clubs, and federations worldwide. The Sports Marketing team partners with top athletes to gain valuable insights about current and future products, share inspiring stories about sport, and build long-lasting, meaningful relationships between the athletes and Nike. The Brand Experience team drives athletes’ journeys, marketing strategies and brand elevation within the business. This position requires strong brand and athletes’ knowledge. The candidate will help providing exceptional services and experiences for athletes globally. The candidate needs to have:
Experience in Sports Marketing, Marketing or Brand Marketing. Previous work with athlete’s ecosystem or sport event is preferred, but we welcome candidates with a passion for the industry and a strong willingness to learn.
Strong knowledge of professional sports, athletes’ management and sport industry.
Proven ability to communicate effectively and develop strong, trust-based relationships with diverse teams within a large matrix organization and large audience (athletes, agents, agencies).
Skilled relationship builder both internally and externally, with strong cross-functional collaboration experience.
Ability to manage numerous complex workstreams simultaneously; managing tight deadlines, multiple stakeholders and conflicting priorities.
Skilled at engaging with diverse audiences, promoting teamwork, and maintaining positive, productive partnerships across the sports marketing landscape, including facilitating meetings and delivering presentations.
Ability to balance day to day operational tasks with a strategic outlook across regions
Effective team member who positively influences peers, colleagues and the work environment
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Drive and coordinate the overall Brand Experience strategy for the genders/Fields of Play by proactively supporting the integrated seasonal brand offense. Leveraging athletes and teams as an integral part of the Marketing Long Term Consumer Concepts and Seasonal plans that drive the member engagement KPI’s and activate against key sport dimensions, projects or sport moments.
Develop and execute clear plans for athletes and teams that fully leverage the potential of the portfolio, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Drive the Sports Marketing POV at the concept stage of all brand activations to ensure a balanced approach in relation to the performance demands of the athlete and wider contextual industry factors around the use of specific athletes and assets within specific situations at specific times.
Provide Athlete Insights to help shape and refine the portfolio, using a brand tiering approach.
Improve leverage of SM assets across all field of plays & functions through flawless integration into brand planning, aligning to the strategic concept map.
Manage the athlete request process through deep integration within the business and leverage of tools (Athlete Portal platform), ensuring a seamless, efficient experience for our key partners.
Implement Sports Marketing strategies by building strong relationships within the team and across departments. You will collaborate closely with Brand Management, Energy Marketing, Communications, Purpose, and Product teams to support and drive business priorities.
