Nike Specialist I, Brand Marketing Mens EMEA in Hilversum, Netherlands

As part of the Marketing Team in EMEA, you will work on stories and marketing campaigns inspired by the Athlete Way; featuring products, Athletes and services to inspire and enable the youth. Pushing boundaries, you will develop, support and drive timely and effective delivery of seasonal Marketing plans, ensuring member & product innovation is at the forefront of all planning and execution across all channels and partners. You will evaluate these campaigns and take learnings for upcoming stories.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are hiring for the EMEA Brand Marketing Specialist in the Brand Marketing, Men’s Lifestyle team.

This role is best for a passionate marketeer with a digital and/or retail background who shares our love for sport, youth culture, and consumer insights. This person loves pushing thinking into new innovative spaces and strives for executional excellence.

The ideal candidate is part of the skateboarding world, has an agile mentality and ability to work in a high pace, evolving environment. Dealing with complexity and change is not an issue and this person brings incredible energy as an empathetic team player.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be performing a critical supporting role for the Men’s Lifestyle team, working across our seasonal offense.

A typical day/week looks like supporting the Brand Managers and Director in the development of seasonal Men x Lifestyle plans that serves athletes across the EMEA Marketplace. You will be tasked with operational missions as well as attend meetings with cross-functional partners and represent the voice of the consumer in the development and execution of our marketing plans.

You will support the Men x Lifestyle Marketing teams to amplify the Nike Brand and create lasting consumer connections in Nike owned and/or multi-brand ecosystems.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

This is the Nike matrix: You will work alongside a team of other EMEA Brand Management Directors, Lead Professionals, and Professionals. You will also work closely with our cross-functional partners including but not limited to Merchandising, DSM, Nike Direct, Digital, City Marketing, Insights, and External Partner.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • You will have an absolute passion and obsession for skateboarding and in general for sports & sports culture in any or all it’s various forms

  • Experience in or exposure to Marketing (ideally with some link to brand, retail or digital marketing)

  • An absolute self-starter, high interest in operating in collaborative autonomy and you can demonstrate where and how you have taken initiative to get work done on your own and as a part of a team

  • Agile mentality & the ability to navigate through ambiguity to clarity. This is the environment we are in and what it takes for us to stay ahead of the game. You can lean into different topics and embrace it all on your learning journey

  • You’re in the creative space, but to get things done, you’ll accompany teams on a project by project basis, using your systems affinity (our systems are AirTable; eNote; SAP – however planning systems, googledocs etc. are a relevant comparison) and interest to support, to drive projects along

  • Working at scale requires administering that work, so you will engage in product orders; managing requests; tracking actions, so you shouldn’t be shy of day-to-day tasks

  • You are able to highlight times where you showcased deep curiosity to learn about complexity in business and in the market & trends.
