Nike Specialist, Marketplace Business Development in Hilversum, Netherlands

The Marketplace Business Development team delivers an holistic marketplace strategy to fuel the growth and future of the Nike Marketplace Partners and Direct channels. As part of the new Partner Go-To-Market (PGTC) offence, the team partners with local teams and central stakeholders to develop integrated opportunities to serve consumers in each Nike key fields of Play (i.e. Running, Lifestyle, Fitness) and countries.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a specialist to join our Marketplace Business Development team in the Nike European headquarters.

In this role, you’ll contribute and support the centralized Marketplace Management for key cities and countries in EMEA Nike Sport Marketplace (NSM). Support local team and central stakeholders in their journey to develop a competitive and winning marketplace and gain #1 Market share.

You’ll work with senior management and drive actionable changes to the Nike Marketplace. You’ll join a fun team that will guide and enable you a steep learning curve while being exposed to leadership. There will be opportunity to travel to key cities and be part of creating the future of Nike.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you’ll be working with a senior business development team in a multi-stakeholder environment, including teams from Partner-Go-To Market, Nike Direct & Nike Partners , Nike Sport Marketplace leadership account leads and territory LT.

A typical day/week looks like:

· Market Research and Competitive Analysis:

o Conduct comprehensive market research to identify trends, opportunities and competitive dynamics.

o Utilize data analytics tools Evaluate and synthesize data to provide insights that inform business strategies.

· Mapping EMEA Marketplace:

o Develop and maintain comprehensive mapping of the EMEA marketplace, including wholesale and retail business, consumer and fields of play segments, and product categories.

o Integrate the NSM and support in connecting the partner strategic plans with future state marketplace mapping. Reflect the impact on the local marketplace per CFOP

o Use this mapping to identify gaps, opportunities, and strategic initiatives for growth.

o Facilitate centralized integration of the NSM in local cities/countries, ensure we show up as one brand in one marketplace for one consumer

o Feed in to building the EMEA NSM Strategy ensuring we win in all (key) cities and countries (through clear feedback loop from the cities/countries to EHQ) primary focus on Must Win5 (FR, UK, DE, IT, SP), CEMEA (Central-Middle East Africa) and others to fuel growth.

· Collaboration:

o Work closely with the business development, PGTC, marketplace partners, Nike retail, countries and key cities teams to ensure alignment of strategies and initiatives. Provide analytical support for cross-functional projects.

o Engage and provide central improvement, coordination and performance tracking of the NSM for key cities and countries

· Communication and Storytelling:

o Prepare detailed presentations for senior management, highlighting key findings, trends, and strategic recommendations.

o Present findings in an engaging storytelling, ability to influence discussions and bring different point of view to senior leadership.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will report to the Business Development Senior Manager. This role will collaborate heavily across the Nike Marketplace Partners, Nike Direct teams, Cities and Geo teams to drive & optimize the current business.

WHAT YOU BRING

§ You are a data analyst by passion or experience (strong plus) with excellent skills in analyzing data and transforming insights into impactful presentations.

Marketplace account facing experience (commercial or supply chain)

§ Experience in end to end project management with strong background in cross-functional collaboration. You have been part of, led or co led various project ensuring successful outcomes.

§ Proven strong experience in engaging with and influencing senior stakeholders.

§ Communication and presentation skills (PowerPoint and key note strong plus)
