Aggressive Masonry General Construction Laborers in Holdingford, Minnesota
Aggressive Masonry Inc., Holdingford, MN, needs 3 temporary (04/01/25 12/01/25) and full-time General Construction Laborers to work at various jobsites in the following MN counties: Stearn, Morrison, Benton, Meeker and Todd. Prepare construction site where concrete will be poured. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. Follow instructions of Cement masons to set and align forms that hold concrete; spread, level and smooth Concrete using rakes, shovels or hand tools. Tear down concrete forms. May operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. May clean and prepare sites, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris and other waste materials. May assist other craft workers. Must have 3-months experience. No education requirements. OJT provided. $26.87p/h, overtime wage rate of $40.31, overtime including weekend work may be available but is not guaranteed, general schedule of 40h/w, 6am-4pm, Mon-Fri. Applicants may be offered higher than the advertised wage rate due to experience or merit. The employer will use a single workweek as its standard for computing wages due. Workers will be paid on a bi-weekly basis. The employer will make all deductions from workers paychecks that are required by law. If employer-arranged housing is utilized the worker will be deducted an amount that does not exceed reasonable fair market value costs based on the number of occupants but is yet to be determined. If workers request and receive a pay advance, that amount will later be deducted from their paycheck. If relocating for the position, the cost of transportation and subsistence to the place of employment will be reimbursed, if half of the employment period is completed. This reimbursement will be calculated by the exact cost of the transportation expenses by airplane or bus fare, as well as subsistence expenses calculated at the minimum amount of $15.88 per 24-hour period of travel and the maximum amount of $59.00 per day. Return transportation and subsistence will be provided if the employment period is completed, or if dismissed early. The employer will provide daily transportation to and from the jobsite. The employer will reimburse the H-2B worker in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing, and other related fees that are to the benefit of the employer. All tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job will be provided to workers at no charge. The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period.
