MIDWEST TAPE LLC Email Marketing Coordinator in Holland, Ohio

Full-time, M-F 8:30am-5:00pm

Onsite in Holland, OH and then will transition to hybrid after training period.

*Position Summary: *

Midwest Tape and hoopla Digital are looking for a talented Social Media Coordinator who is passionate about creating engaging social media campaigns. Your main duties will include planning, creating, executing, and measuring social media efforts, including videos, across all our social media channels including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, YouTube, LinkedIn, and TikTok. The ideal candidate will also have a deep appreciation for public libraries. We are proud to serve public libraries globally and are seeking like-minded individuals who want to join our team to help libraries continue to provide increasing value to their patrons and communities.

 

 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this position successfully, an individual must fulfill the knowledge, skill, and/or ability requirements listed below:

  • Conceptualize, write, and create compelling social media content that drives engagement with both patrons and libraries.
  • Implement social media campaigns across the Midwest Tape and hoopla brands and channels, leveraging available segmentation and analytics to track and optimize performance.
  • Collaborate on compelling campaigns for use by libraries engaging with their patrons.
  • Work directly with the Social Media Manager to create a timely social media messaging calendar and leverage available resources to create compelling content to support that calendar.
  • Use creative means to plan, organize, and implement a range of social media programs.
  • Convey and foster a sense of community and build our following based on valuation content and mutual sharing.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge on new and developing social media trends, tools, and applications.
  • Seek out and maintain expert-level knowledge of current events as well as relevant industry-specific trends.

     

Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge, understanding, and passion for social media platforms and their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, YouTube, etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios to meet the needs of the business.
  • Expertise in using MS Office software and Internet research and third-party social media scheduling tools.
  • Ability to multi-task effectively under pressure, time and resource management.

*Required Education Requirements: *

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, journalism, or related field.

     

Preferred Experience:

1-2 years of experience planning, testing, launching, monitoring, optimizing and measuring social media campaigns preferred.
