Talent with 3+ years of experience in CNC machining are needed for a new shift. This company has been longstanding in the community and growing. 1st shift will be available after 12 months of employment on 2nd shift and the staring rate ranges from $30/hr to $35/hr or more for the right candidate. Responsibilities
Lays out, machines, fits, assembles, and finishes metal parts to repair molds for rubber injection molding tools. Inspects completed parts per specifications or drawing requirements. Determine best approach and layout sequence of operations required for job.
A tool room machinist is a skilled professional who uses various tools and machinery to create and modify parts according to customer specifications. They work with blueprints, read engineering drawings, and develop tooling to meet customer needs. They operate machines such as punch presses, lathes, shears, and breakers, and they also perform tasks like setting up and running various types of grinders, using precision measuring tools, and repairing and maintaining machine tools. They work closely with the engineering department to develop prototype fixtures and other tools, and they may also travel to customer facilities to repair precision machinery.
