This role is responsible for optimizing business initiatives and providing analytics skill to drive growth for the American Express Consumer and Commercial business in Hong Kong. This position reports to the Director of Lending, Customer Engagement and Capability.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Deep dive on customer profile through data mining and share insights with the team to launch customer centric initiatives

  • Optimize various business programs to strive for scalable results without sacrificing cost efficiency

  • Develop dashboard to monitor business programs performance and key business metrics, and alert leadership team on challenges or opportunities

  • Assist with building and using models to execute business programs

  • Be the coach of the team on coding with the goal of uplifting overall data analytic skill

Qualifications:

  • University undergraduate degree or above

  • 5 years of experience in Financial Services industry with card business knowledge preferred

  • 3 – 5 years of coding experience (Python, R, SQL etc.)

  • Open-minded individual with curiosity

  • Demonstrated high levels of personal accountability and flexibility to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Superior attention to detail

  • Strong relationship building, interpersonal and communication skills
