Queen's Health System Clinical Coordinator, Comp. Weight Management Program (Full-Time, Day, 40) in Honolulu, Hawaii
RESPONSIBILITIES
I. JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops, maintains and analyzes data for Comprehensive Weight Management Program (CWMP) patients.
• Serves as the Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (MBS) Clinical Coordinator and Clinical Reviewer roles as defined by the Standards set forth by the American College of Surgeons (ACS).
• Initiates accreditation and supports maintenance of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery Accreditation and Quality Improvement Program (MBSAQIP) accreditation.
II. TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
• Continuous: finger dexterity, seeing, hearing, speaking.
• Frequent: sitting, reaching below shoulder level, repetitive arm/hand motions.
• Occasional: stooping/bending, lifting and carrying usual weight of 20 pounds; reaching above and at shoulder level, static gripping of an object for prolonged periods, frequent gripping of an object.
III. TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Not substantially subjected to adverse environmental conditions.
IV. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE:
• Current Hawaii State license as a Registered Nurse.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
B. EXPERIENCE:
• Two (2) years nursing experience.
• Two (2) years work experience performing quantitative and analytical type work including maintaining and operating databases.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Epic and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
• Knowledge of hospital systems, hospital departments and clinical experience necessary to track and analyze data preferred.
• Knowledge of ICD-9, CPT-4 coding preferred.
• Knowledge of MBSAQIP specific data registry platform preferred.
