The Insurance Programs team is responsible for all facets of timely payment and processing of insurance claims, along with the supporting financial reporting and data generation. The department establishes clearly defined goals and standards to improve the effectiveness of our claims processing, along with a seamless integration of insurance policies with our health care services.

The Coordinator is responsible for Provider Insurance Claims (PIC) insurance functions, fulfilling obligations for insured practitioner databases, answering queries for malpractice coverage, issuance of Certificate of Insurance (COI), responding to claims history and insurance verification requests, prepares and enters invoices for payment to claimants, providers, and vendors in claims management database. You will enter and close new claims in the claims management database and process and gather information needed to complete insurance renewal applications.

Minimum Qualifications: Associate's degree in business administration or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or related work experience. One (1) year clerical experience. Knowledge of the insurance industry.

Preferred Qualifications: Proficient in Excel, Word, Access and/or other computer applications.
