Seeking a Full Stack Go-Lang Developer in Finance Banking
NO H1B CANDIDATES, MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US
Full-Time opportunity, Monday-Friday, 8:00 am- 5:00 pm.
9 month Contract + extension
Fully Remote. Preferably in Hawaii or West Coast.
Description:
The Digital Banking team is responsible for the emerging technologies and the full web applications, as they are undergoing a digital transformation and improving CX for the consumers. This full stack engineer will also be responsible for the development and maintenance of a money transfer application (like Venmo or Zelle or CashApp) feature for Fraud Disputes, in identifying and resolving fraudulent activity/transactions, and creating the visual dashboard for the internal stakeholders.
The developer takes place on any web interface or processes the bank utilizes. This role will allow the ability to get in a ground level work environment and impact the services offered to consumers by developing the delivery. There is opportunity to grow within the team and technical skillset.
Top Skills' Details:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field
MUST HAVE: Proficient/Expert in JavaScript in Vue.js
MUST HAVE: Proficient/Expert in Go-Lang with at least 3-5 years of work experience.
Pushing code in production experience
Able to share work samples
Project Work:
Web projects includes web application and mobile app for a local finance institution. The team works closely with the vendor's developers, as they are responsible for the back-end development of the application. The digital team will be assisting the developers by focusing on the code's quality before implementing into the organization's environment and is responsible for the front-end development. The project is to modernize the applications across the bank. Example of projects are modernizing the loans and lines app, loans lines commercial app, and wrote a new registration app.

This person will be supporting the web application development within the "Emerging Technology" team, of digital banking.
It is important for the candidate joining the developer team, to be considerate and open to a fun-loving culture, with a lot of high-potential talent. Is collaborative and easy going with a passion for coding.

Vue.js, Javascript, Golang, AWS
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
peer coding experience in a plus - focus on quality of code
Eager and sharp (must validate with references)
Banking is a plus
MUST PASS DRUG AND NATIONAL CHECK TO QUALIFY
