Always Best Care Senior Services - Oahu is currently seeking a dedicated and highly experienced Home Care Supervisor to join our compassionate team in the beautiful city of Honolulu, Hawaii. As the Home Care Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in planning, coordinating, leading, controlling, and evaluating our home care services. We are looking for an energetic individual with a genuine passion for providing exceptional care to our beloved seniors. The Home Care Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our home care services. This includes coordinating and maintaining effective communication with parent and affiliate departments to ensure seamless operations. The supervisor will also develop policies and guidelines to enhance our administrative systems, working collaboratively with service personnel. They will actively contribute to improving overall efficiency and streamlining processes. Responsibilities: * Coordinating and maintaining effective communication with parent and affiliate departments to ensure seamless operations. * Developing policies and guidelines through collaboration with service personnel, aiming to enhance administrative systems. * Offering professional input to improve administrative systems and enhance overall efficiency. * Conducting intake meetings and establishing personalized care plans for home care clients and their families. * Directing and supervising the delivery of client care services by professional and paraprofessional staff. * Contributing to marketing efforts and fostering positive public relations for the company to expand our reach. * Consulting and collaborating with home care facilities to address staffing needs and ensure optimal service delivery. * Effectively communicating the concept of quality client care to the community, fostering trust and strong relationships. * Being readily available during all service hours to address any concerns or emergencies. * Performing skilled nursing visits and providing necessary assistance to patients during facility discharges. * Acting as a client services' administrative liaison by interpreting service needs to the Administrator, ensuring smooth coordination. * Collaborating with the Administrator to formulate policies and develop and implement impactful programs. * Coordinating with supervisors and staff to evaluate special programs or service programs, identifying areas for improvement. * Evaluating the program, services, and field personnel, providing feedback and implementing enhancements. * Directing the implementation of service goals and objectives to achieve excellence in care provision. * Establishing standards to ensure safe and effective services for clients and families, guaranteeing their well-being. * Recruiting Nurse Aides from various sources such as schools and expos, maintaining a qualified and dedicated team. * Maintaining open lines of communication with program personnel, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment. * Keeping program personnel updated with state-of-the-art clinical information and practices through staff development initiatives, promoting continuous growth. * Overseeing the implementation and evaluation of client care services, ensuring adherence to regulatory licensure and certification criteria and accreditation standards. * Performing physical therapy as needed, incorporating crucial therapeutic interventions. * Performing nursing services as needed, ensuring comprehensive and skilled care. * Performing any other duties as outlined in the full job description, maintaining flexibility and adaptability. Requirements: * Must hold a valid PT, RN, or LPN license, showcasing professional qualifications in the field. * Possess extensive experience in home care or a related field, demonstrating expertise in the industry. * Showcase strong leadership and organizational skills, capable of effectively managing a team. * Display excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, fostering strong relationships with clients and colleagues. * Familiarity with regulatory licensure and certification criteria, ensuring compliance with industry standards. * Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing work environments, exhibiting flexibility.
