Job Description

Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. The Patient Services Administration team works closely with other health care leadership and staff within Hawai‘i Pacific Health hospitals and clinics to ensure that Clinical Service Line operations are running smoothly. They also provide staffing services for the hospitals and serve the facility with customer service, clinical competency and fiscal responsibility.

If you are motivated and detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal skills, you could be our next House Supervisor in the Patient Services Administration department, where you would help to manage overall quality and delivery of hospital care. Responsibilities include coordinating and supervising hospital-wide activities such as providing administrative/clinical support and staffing for the patient care area during specific shifts; and participating in inter and intra-departmental problem resolution and communication.
