Laulima Government Solutions, LLC is looking for a qualified IT Manager – Intermediate, Active Directory (AD) to provide onsite enterprise/domain level administration support services to a customer in Honolulu, HI.

DESCRIPTION

The IT Manager – Intermediate, Active Directory (AD) will install, configure, and maintain all aspects of the Microsoft Enterprise Active Directory infrastructure and provide high-level expert support of issues escalated from customers. Support includes accounts and group management, security, Domain Name Service, Group Policy Object’s and other directory services technologies as applicable. Additionally, the environment is physical and virtual, and requires the candidate to use their knowledge in VMware Virtualization, applicable certifications (e.g., VMware VCP) and VMware vCloud to perform the specialized Active Directory tasks.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Install, configure, and maintain and active directory forest on both multiple enclaves, in both physical and virtual environments.

  • Continuously monitor the Active Directory Domain in order to detect malfunction, intrusion attempts, and anomalies.

  • Research and recommend enhancements to existing server systems and storage infrastructure.

  • Create and maintain necessary documentation on systems and processes.

  • Ensure readiness of disaster recovery facility for all mission critical server systems.​

Enterprise Backups:

  • Install, operate, and maintain a Government-provided enterprise backup system for DoDIN Army Pacific hardware such as servers and user computers managed by the RCC-P.

  • Development and implement a backup routine and sequence to ensure availability and integrity of backup data if necessary for data restoration or recovery to include a backup strategy for flag officer staff and distinguished visitors.

  • File Retention - Development and implement an archive (library) routine to satisfy retention, preservation and recovery requirements based on the Army Electronic Archive (AEA) module of the Army Records Information Management System (ARIMS) to provide large-scale, secure storage for the RCC-P’s important email and other electronic data.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must possess a DoD Top Secret Clearance.

  • Must be IAT-III qualified in accordance with DoD Directive 8570.01 - (CISSP, CASP CE, CCNP-Security, CISA, GCED, or GCIH.

  • Must obtain MCSE: Core Infrastructure within six months after hire.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 5-7 years progressively responsible experience in windows server administration, Microsoft operating systems, AD organizational unit administration, AD principles and methodologies.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the associated IA principles and framework applied to ensure information assurance and security of those services.

  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP network architecture and implementation; and the fundamentals of network protocols, architecture and management.

  • Enterprise System Administration experience on Microsoft Windows platform; an understanding of a wide array of server grade applications to include DNS, IIS, Apache, SharePoint, SAN/NAS, SCCM/SCOM, VM, Patch Management, and LDAP.

  • B.S. in computer science / information systems or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • MCSA: Server 2012 R2
