Description
The Capital Area Division (CAD) of Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) is seeking energetic and experienced Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) Engineer with backgrounds in supporting the Government in the planning and execution of large technology programs. Successful applicants for these contingent positions will support the Office of the Secretary of Defense in Hawaii. This position supporting the DoD’s Assault Breaker II (ABII) program require candidates with experience leading the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis efforts including technology analysis and assessment, system definition, systems analysis, systems architecture development and architecture products for systems of systems (SoS), kill chain analysis, analysis to define capability gaps, modeling and simulation activities for mission improvement, and Logistics support of DoD systems.
Required Qualifications:
MS or Master of Engineering (ME) degree in engineering or related technical discipline
8-10 years of relevant experience
Current DoD TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility
Experience leading the planning and execution of complex mission and systems analysis efforts
Experience supporting technical, managerial, or operational fields
Strong oral and written communication skills
Experience communicating, interfacing, and interacting with Joint Staff, Services, and warfighters on topics associated with engineering and analysis
Desired Qualifications:
15+ years of relevant experience
Experience supporting the Office of the Secretary of Defense and/or DARPA
Experience with the Assault Breaker program
This position is contingent upon award of a contract (one base year + four option years) expected in October 2024 supporting the Department of Defense.
