Description
We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the building design industry based in Honolulu, Hawaii. The Receptionist will play a key role in ensuring smooth office operations by managing front desk activities, handling mail, assisting with deliveries, and performing other general clerical tasks.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the front desk and ensure all customers and guests are greeted professionally
• Answer and route phone calls on a multi-line switchboard system
• Process and distribute incoming and outgoing mail in a timely manner
• Assist with the coordination and receipt of deliveries
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area
• Monitor and order office supplies as needed
• Perform other general clerical duties to support office operations
• Utilize basic computer skills to maintain accurate records and perform data entry tasks
• Deliver outstanding customer service in all interactions with customers, guests, and team members.
Requirements
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a receptionist role
• Proficiency in mail processing including receiving, sorting, and distributing incoming mail
• Demonstrated basic office skills such as file management, data entry, and scheduling
• Prior CSR or customer service experience with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction
• Ability to handle switchboard phones with 1-10 lines, directing calls as necessary
• Experience performing typical receptionist duties such as greeting guests, handling inquiries, and maintaining reception area
• Responsible for ordering and managing office supplies as needed
