Job Description:

At Regions, the Intern works on department assignments while learning more about the financial services industry. As an intern, you will experience Regions’ values while receiving job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities. Regions offers college internship opportunities within various departments.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Receives exposure to all basic functions of assigned group within the financial industry

  • Exposed to a wide range of tasks including research, administrative and correspondence work and attend meetings

  • Provides assistance in projects

  • Gains valuable insight within a variety of functions while strengthening core skills and knowledge needed to launch a successful career

  • Responsibilities will vary by internship

This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Requirements

  • A college student who has interest in developing technical skills and gaining work experience

  • Ability to work 40 hours a week for 10 weeks

  • Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Applicants for this position must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data Internship - Technology

At Regions, the Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data - Technology Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting department initiatives while learning more about the financial services industry. Interns will complete projects aligning to strategic objectives and have exposure to senior executives. Interns will also participate in training sessions, networking opportunities, and social activities throughout the summer.

The Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data – Technology Intern will gain experience applying their technical and analytical skills through placement in one of the following potential areas:

· Cybersecurity

· Data Engineering

· Data Management

· Digital Banking

· Software Engineering

Additional Requirements:

· College student pursuing undergraduate or graduate degree majoring in: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or related field

· Ability to work 40 hours a week for 11 weeks

Preferences:

· Preferred rising senior-level college student or master student (Expected graduation of Fall 2025 or Spring 2026)

· Preferred minimum 3.0 GPA

Additional Skills and Competencies

· Proficiency in programming languages

· Exposure to public cloud technologies and DevSecOps

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Ability to quickly learn new technology

· Proven dedication to excellence and achieving results
