onsemi Equipment Maintenance Engineer - Failure Analysis Lab in Hopewell Junction, New York
Summary of Role :
The Laboratory Equipment Maintenance Engineer will develop and support strategic activities to reduce dependence on vendor service contracts. Coordinate daily maintenance activities for non-vendor supported equipment and PM scheduling for vendor-supported equipment. Partner with supplier management engineer and equipment owners to identify tool issues and drive escalation/resolution with supplier to improve equipment uptime. The individual would be responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance as well as baseline troubleshooting for dual-beam FIB’s and SEM’s. In addition, the responsibilities will include the support and maintenance of other common laboratory equipment such as RIE tools, coaters (Sputter dep, ALD, PECVD) and chillers.
